The Workshop on Systems and Frameworks for Computational Morphology (sfcm) aims to bring together researchers and developers in the area of computational morphology. The focus of sfcm are actual, working systems and frameworks based on linguistic principles and providing linguistically motivated analyses and/or generation on the basis of linguistic categories.

Submissions are invited for full papers and short papers. See the Call for Papers and the list of topics for more information. Accepted papers will be published in the Springer series Communications in Computer and Information Science.

sfcm will be held on September 4, 2009 in Zurich, Switzerland. See the local information for more information about the venue.

Note for students: From September 7 until September 19, the Computational Linguistics Fall School of the German Linguistics Association (DGfS) will take place at the University of Konstanz, Germany.  The CL Fall School is a biennial event for students who wish to broaden their knowledge of techniques and methods used in natural language processing.  As Konstanz is just a little over an hour from Zurich by train, it is easy to attend both events.  Please consult the CL Fall School Web site for more information.
